My journey has been one of both intention and divine intervention—from a 17-year-old with little awareness of professional possibilities to a scientist driven by a singular mission: Innovation to Reality.

I did not begin with ambition; I began with small, uncertain steps. Yet each step was strengthened by prayer and guided by providence. What I prepared for with sincerity, God completed with grace.

This journey was shaped through a defining partnership with my husband and co-founder, Manjit Singh, a practicing ophthalmologist. Together, we brought two worlds into one—clinical reality and scientific design. While I engineered solutions in the lab, he continually grounded our work in patient needs, therapeutic gaps, and real-world applicability.

One question stayed with us: Why are so many effective drug molecules unable to deliver the expected outcomes where they are needed most? That question became our mission.

At the Innovation Packed Kit (IPK) lab at Panjab University, I began rethinking drug delivery—simplifying complexity, improving performance, and making therapies more accessible. What started as an effort to repurpose existing molecules evolved into a platform-driven approach: enhancing efficacy, reducing side effects, and extending the value of known actives.

Today, this journey is reflected in 44 patents (22 granted) and multiple successful technology transfers—each representing not just innovation, but persistence, risk-taking, and belief.
