A family of next-generation wound dressings engineered for the most challenging wound environments — diabetic ulcers, infected chronic wounds, and deep dermal injury.
Platforms include histidine-rich antimicrobial peptide hydrogel dressings with proven antimicrobial, antibiofilm, and cell-migratory effects; a 2D-nanoscaffold for wound regeneration tested extensively in diabetic infected wound models; and simvastatin-loaded solid lipid nanoparticulate (SLN) dressings for controlled drug release, inflammation reduction, and tissue repair.
Additional systems include a nanovesicular delivery platform (three Indian patents granted) for a cationic human salivary host defense peptide integrated into a hydrogel matrix for targeted deep dermal delivery; a herbal nanoparticulate-hydrogel dressing (Indian patent granted, US and Canada filed); and novel curcumin and curcumin–live probiotic dressings (Indian patent granted).
Each platform addresses a specific therapeutic gap, from antimicrobial resistance to impaired healing in metabolic disease.
